5th Global Business Conference
We attended the 5th Global Business Conference yesterday at the ATIFTAP center that was spearheaded by De La Salle University. It aims to do the following:To promote managerial, export and electronic competence of SMEs in the Asia-Pacific region, the Association of Training Institutions for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific (ATIFTAP) organizes conferences to stimulate discussions on international trade and promote global trade research.
Attending the afternoon session was supposed to teach us how to do our "final campaign" of our graduate school program but apparently, the entire afternoon was full of research/thesis findings by either previous grad school students or current DBA students. Don't get me wrong, I think all the presenters were great but the research findings are somewhat vague when it comes to purpose.
Anyhoo, at the end of the conference, my only take-away was that I know I can do my campaign. If those presenters were able to pull it off then why can't I.
Right? :P
